KABAKA LAYS FOUNDATION STONE AT SWICO MASAKA SITE

On Saturday 29th November 2014 Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi graced the occasion and laid the foundation stone at the Masaka SWICO HOUSE now under construction. By 9.a.m. Masaka Town was abuzz with drumming, singing and dancing as we awaited the arrival of the Kabaka. The rain that came down did very little to dampen the euphoric atmosphere at the venue as no one was willing to miss this historic occasion.

A few lucky ones do eventually realize this dream but how many of us look back and take stock of the many hardships we encountered just to actualize our dream?

The Kabaka braved the rain and performed the function amid ululations and clapping. Hosting the Kabaka were the Chairman Hon. John Ssebaana Kizito, the Managing Director Mr. J. W. Kiwanuka, the General Manager Hajat. Mariam Mutalaga and members of SWICO management and Staff. Also present were Government and local leaders from Masaka including a cross section of our clients.

The Kabaka on arrival after receiving a bouquet of flowers from little Nicole Nagginda assisted by Mr. Jaggwe Ronald while the M.D. guiding the Kabaka around the site soon after he had laid the foundation stone. Looking on is the Katikiro Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga.
